What Should I Do With My Kitchen Cabinets?

“Should I replace them with new cabinets? Can they be painted? What about the back splash - can that be changed even if I keep the same cabinets?”

These are all very good questions and important ones, since kitchen cabinets are such a large and visible part of a kitchen’s look. Your cabinets can be painted, depending on the condition of your existing kitchen or bathroom cabinets.

As you can see in the attached photos, these wooden kitchen and bathroom cabinets were just painted by Ron's Painting – and they completely transformed the kitchen.  The kitchen's island cabinets and the cabinets in the dinette were painted a different color than the cabinets in the kitchen and butler’s pantry.  Monarch Builders of Bonita Springs removed the old back splash and replaced it with new tile to compliment the cabinets, and also did the electrical work.

We also painted the interior of the cabinets with the glass doors to match the doors so that all of the colors blend together when the lights are on.
