Giving Your Garage Doors a Faux Finish

Ron, I noticed my neighbor had their garage doors faux finished to match their front doors, and it really looks nice. Is this something you can do? I love the look of my front doors and I think the garage doors would look very nice.

This is a question that I was recently asked by a homeowner that we were doing exterior painting for. The first picture is of the front doors that we had to match.

The next two pictures are of the doors once they were faux finished using PPG premium exterior paints.

Adding a faux finish to your garage is a really nice look, especially if it goes well with your front door. This is a trend that’s been going around in our area. If you want a great look for your home, consider giving our garage doors a faux finish to complement your exterior.
