Are you looking for answers to these questions? Many of the newer homes being built now have tray ceilings or “coffer ceilings" as they are sometimes called. Some tray ceilings also have crown molding as well. If you are looking to add a "WOW" factor to any room, especially one that has a tray ceiling, a nice faux finish can definitely make a statement.
Another way to compliment a room is to pull a color from your furnishings, draperies, or bedspread, and paint the tray ceiling in a solid color and paint the step below the crown molding in the same color. This will definitely add pizzazz to any room and it helps make the crown molding pop!
