When we painted the exterior of this Estero home we hand painted with a brush and roller everyone of the corbels, pillars, and foam architectural banding on the front of the home to ensure they got a good coat of paint. This makes a big difference in keeping mold from growing on the rough surface of these surfaces.

After we were done painting the exterior of this Ft. Myers Beach home with new colors, the homeowners could not believe the change in how much nicer their home looked.
When choosing a yellow color for the exterior of your home, you have to be careful. Many yellows fade quickly. The color we used on this home is more of a butterscotch yellow, and it will hold up well to the Florida Sun.
We painted the exterior of this home in Bela Lago in Estero then we painted the front doors using Moderns Masters Warm Silver to compliment the front entrance. We accented the bands on the top and bottom of the pillars in front also using the Warm Silver. All of the architectural foam banding was painted by brush and roller to ensure that all of the gaps in the rough surface were completely painted with paint.
We painted the front doors using Modern Masters Metallic Antique Copper.
Paint the exterior of this Sanctuary home many years ago. We used walk picks and scaffolding to paint the areas of the home above the pool.
I do not recommend painting the exterior of your Florida home this color, as it fades quickly. We had to use this color to match the existing color on the home.
During painting
Great look for this waterfront home in Palmetto home. This picture is of home once exterior painting was completed.
We painted the exterior of this home in Cape Coral with a soft butterscotch yellow so it would hold up to the Florida sun, then we painted the front door using Modern Masters Metallic Antique Copper.

We painted the front doors of this home using Modern Masters metallic Warm Silver. This sure added the WOW factor to the front of this freshly painted home.
After painting the exterior of this Cape Coral home we painted the front doors using Modern Masters Metallic Blackened Bronze. By painting your front doors an accent color it draws attention to your front door area and away from your garage door. You will see the front doors in the next photo.
As you can see, one of us is applying the paint to the exterior stucco by spraying it on the stucco walls, and another one of us is back rolling the paint into the surface. By doing it this way this ensures that all of the nook and crannies are filled in with paint.

Here is the first of 7 pictures of this home in Eagle Ridge. This is the photo I took before we began painting the exterior.
The home is now prepared for paint and painting has begun. If you look real close notice how we are painting the soffits of this home to match the stucco color. By painting the soffits it will give the home a nice fresh and updated look.

The next 10 pictures tell a story about the exterior painting of this home. I ask may people to view these pictures when I tell them that the paint is currently starting to peel off of their home. This is what can happen to you if you hire the wrong painting contractor and they cut corners. We are just getting ready to start the pressure cleaning process on the exterior of this home.
This is the back side of the home before we began pressure cleaning. The stucco patches that you see are from the general contractor that replace the windows on the home and installed hurricane proof windows.
This is what can happen when a painting contractor does not pressure clean a home and use the proper chalk sealer to seal in a chalky surface on the stucco. As you can see move than 60% of the existing coating came off and it went right down to bare stucco. You never know how much paint will come off until you start pressure cleaning.
When we pressure cleaned the back side of this home we hung drop cloths from the screen enclosure to help keep paint chips from getting in the pool.
Now that the home as been pressure cleaned and all of the paint that was going to come off is now off and the stucco has dried overnight we have covered all of the windows on the home with plastic. The next step is to seal the stucco with a clear chalk sealer. This ensure that our paint will adhere to the stucco and the homeowner will not have this problem again.
Once the chalk sealer as dried we then patch the cracks in the stucco. When you remove the paint from the stucco walls as we did on this job, you will find twice as many cracks as you would normally find if the paint did not come off. A good paint job will hide hair line cracks, but removing the paint shows the cracks, then you have to patch them with an elastomeric patching sealant.

We used Wood RX on these wood steps after we painted the exterior of this Sanibel home.
Look at the copping around the pool. You can see where we applied the sealer and where we did not. Can you see how rich the copping looks once the sealer is applied. It really brings back the color in pavers and copping.

We had a little bit of a challenge painting the exterior of this home over the pool, but with our experience it was just another day at the office.
We even gave the concrete pool deck a fresh coat of paint.
Yes we paint all size homes on the exterior.
We had to do some minor wood repairs before we could begin to stain the steps and landings.

Fort Myers
The front doors and transom are made of Mahogany and are stained and clear coated with Spar Varnish.
We had to build a tent to keep the paint out of the pool and off the pool deck so we could spray paint the aluminum soffits.
